Ammonium is a natural resource in Astroneer. It is generated in the form of greenish-brown rhombic clusters on all planets. It can be found with varying probabilities. On Silva, it is commonly found in forests, while on other planets, it can be found in various locations.

You can obtain ammonium on any planet in Astroneer by using the Terrain Tool. Simply aim the tool at the ammonium deposits and excavate them. When you accumulate enough clusters, the resource “Ammonium” will appear in your inventory.
Interesting facts
- If you place ammonium in the research chamber in Astroneer and fully analyze it, you will receive 75 bytes. The research speed is 30 bytes per minute.
