Novus – a vibrant moon of Vesania in Astroneer. It features dense forests and craters on its surface, making movement challenging both by vehicles and on foot. To facilitate travel, soil canisters need to be installed on the rover. The atmosphere is thin and misty, consisting of methane and hydrogen. Novus is a highly illuminated moon, which is advantageous for collecting renewable energy through solar panels.

Activating the core of Novus: SILICONE
Information and activation of Novus
Like other celestial bodies, Novus has cosmic nodes (teleporters, gates). At least one of the two nodes must be activated with 21 U/s of power. After activating a cosmic node, access to the core will be granted. Insert silicon into Novus’ core to obtain a geometric signature, which should be placed on the opposite side of the core.
- Solar power: abundant
- Wind power: abundant
- Does soil burrow?
To navigate Novus, it is necessary to create a drill mod or install a drill on the rover.
- How to activate the blue objects (portals) on planets?
These are cosmic nodes, and to activate them, you need to supply 21 U/s of power for 30 seconds.
- How to activate the core of Novus?
1-Activate at least one cosmic node on the moon.
2-Reach the core and insert one piece of silicon.
3-Obtain a geometric signature from the silicon.
4-Place the geometric signature on the opposite side of the core, in the designated slot (on the ceiling).
5-To progress in the game, you will need another geometric signature for an unknown satellite in space.
