Organic – a natural resource in Astroneer. Organic plants can be found in various types of flora, on different planets, and in different locations. Organic can be found everywhere, on the surface and in deep caves, but when collected using a terrain tool, it appears as a stack of thick green leaves.

The trading platform gives 2 organic material for 1 scrap. A maximum of 4 scraps for one order of 8 organic material.

- How to obtain organic material in Astroneer?
You can obtain organic material on any planet by using the terrain tool. Simply point it at a cluster of organic material and dig it up. When you have collected enough clusters, the resource “Organic” will appear in your inventory.
Interesting facts
- If you place organic material in the research chamber, conducting a full analysis will yield 50 bytes. The research speed is 20 bytes per minute.
