Wolframite is a natural resource in Astroneer. It is generated in caves on Desolo and on Calidor in the mountains and mantle of the planet. Wolframite resembles real-life bismuth, forming clusters of cubes with a green-yellow gradient.

  The Trade Platform provides 2 Wolframite for every 3 Scrap. The maximum amount for one trade is 6 Scrap for 4 Wolframite.

• How to obtain Wolframite in Astroneer?
  Wolframite can be obtained on Desolo and Calidor by using the Terrain Tool (in simple terms, the Vacuum). Simply point it at a cluster of Wolframite and dig it up. When enough clusters are accumulated, the resource “Wolframite” will appear in the inventory.

Interesting facts

• If you place Wolframite in the Research Chamber, you will receive 100 bytes upon completing its analysis. The research speed will be 40 bytes per minute.
